The town hall will address funding opportunities of applied science at BOEM. Presenters will show examples of completed and ongoing projects while highlighting partnerships, and provide an overview of BOEM's organization and its Environmental Studies Program, describing how studies inform decision making for offshore energy management. BOEM funds physical, chemical, and biological oceanography, archaeology, and socioeconomic research.
