PROGRAM:

10:30am-10:55am | Marine Geophysics – Seeing Beyond the Seabed

Darren Mortimer, Technical Product Manager - Near Surface, Geosoft

Geosoft, the industry-standard software for marine geophysical data processing, provides a wide range of tools to suit your survey objectives, from mapping seafloor geology to locating cables and pipelines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and other marine hazards.  This presentation will highlight how you can:

  • Easily process large volumes of geophysical data
  • Perform positioning, location, and data corrections
  • Run Quality Assurance and Quality Control tests
  • Calculate target location, depth, size and magnetic moment
  • Optimize seabed survey planning and reporting

The latest update includes improved automated modelling of the magnetic UXO data, support for rotated maps, and multiple gradient sensors in any configuration.

11:00am-11:25am | Swift 020.m Marine UAV Launch and Recovery

Andrew Streett, Chief Scientist, Swift Engineering

Swift Engineering’s 020 Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) transition to Horizontal Flight multi-purpose unmanned aerial system (UAS) was designed as a fully autonomous turn-key UAS solution. The Swift 020 combines the VTOL capabilities of a multi-copter and the flight endurance of a fixed wing.

The Swift 020 is light weight, easy to transport, and with its “quick swap” payload bay can accommodate multiple payloads in support of various missions.

Our Waterproofed Marine Edition with gimbaled HD EO Camera contains a laptop ground control station and touchscreen ease of use and provides over the horizon aerial observation.
